SV	Voorts zeide David tot den jongen, die hem de boodschap gebracht had: Van waar zijt gij? En hij zeide: Ik ben de zoon van een vreemden man, van een Amalekiet.
WLC	וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֗ד אֶל־הַנַּ֙עַר֙ הַמַּגִּ֣יד לֹ֔ו אֵ֥י מִזֶּ֖ה אָ֑תָּה וַיֹּ֕אמֶר בֶּן־אִ֛ישׁ גֵּ֥ר עֲמָלֵקִ֖י אָנֹֽכִי׃
Trans.	wayyō’mer dāwiḏ ’el-hann^a‘ar hammagîḏ lwō ’ê mizzeh ’ātâ wayyō’mer ben-’îš gēr ‘ămālēqî ’ānōḵî:

AC	יג ויאמר דוד אל הנער המגיד לו אי מזה אתה ויאמר בן איש גר עמלקי אנכי
ASV	And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a sojourner, an Amalekite.
BE	And David said to the young man who had given him the news, Where do you come from? And he said, I am the son of a man from a strange land; I am an Amalekite.
Darby	And David said to the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he said, I am the son of an Amalekite stranger.
ELB05	Und David sprach zu dem Jüngling, der ihm berichtete: Woher bist du? Und er sprach: Ich bin der Sohn eines amalekitischen Fremdlings.
